Susieben is the President of Stree Shakti Kendra. The Kendra has set up a centre near the historic August Kranti Maidan. The center is established with a view to empower and emancipate Mahilas at large. It provides assistance to Mahilas to seek protection under Domestic Violence Protection Act, seek relief under welfare schemes for Women by the Government of Maharashtra as well as, as prolugated by the Government of India. |
