Susieben Shah is the daughter of Shri B. A. Desai, who was a Corporator, four terms MLA, and a Minister in the Government of Maharashtra from Malabar Hill Constituency. He was a most popular MLA and Minister. He is a member of A.I.C.C. for the past 32 years. He is Senior Vice-President of Mumbai Congress and Former Co-Chairman, A.I.C.C. - Legal Cell. he was also the Additional Solicitor General of India, based in Mumbai.
